CBS’ “Blue Bloods” is due to premiere for its sixth season next month, and new spoilers have cropped up giving a preview of the season to come.

With the return of “Blue Bloods” for Season 6 this September, audiences will be treated to Danny on the heels of a serial killer suspected be hunting him in turn.

Detective First Grade Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) is fresh off a case from last season that’s put his family to the test. Last season the Reagans rushed to the hospital after Danny’s wife, Linda (Amy Carlson) is shot, and Danny nabs the gang member responsible for her shooting. Turns out the gang member murdered a deputy police chief, as well.

During the premiere of Season 6, fans will see him teaming up with Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) to track down a serial killer who sends Danny a chilling message, pointing out suspect may have a personal vendetta against Detective Reagan.

Meanwhile Erin Reagan-Boyle (Bridget Moynahan) is thinking of applying for a judgeship position, giving rise to anticipation over whether she will actually go through with the idea she’s toying with, and whether it will give rise to more conflicts of interest in the plot.

Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) finds himself in a tight spot after he is accused of corruption by a mayoral candidate, a political issue that doesn’t often appear in television crime series.

Officer Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) will find also herself facing her long-estranged father when he lands in the hospital.

“Blue Bloods” was earlier renewed for a sixth season in May after ratings went up during the Season 5 finale. It will continue to follow the lives of the Reagans, an Irish-American family of police officers working with the New York City Police Department, when it returns to its usual timeslot for Season 6 on Sept. 25.

The star and producer also explains why he was initially hesitant to do the A&E docuseries, admitting: “Being on TV as ‘Mark Wahlberg’ was not of interest to me.”

Your initial reaction to the show concept was allegedly, “Will people really be interested in this?” What made you say yes?

Yeah, initially I didn’t want to be on television. I’m sick of being on television. Yes, I’m an actor and a producer, which is my first love, but being on TV as “Mark Wahlberg” was not of interest to me. But it was [ultimately] about promoting and building the business. And it’s been a nice thing that has brought our family closer.

People are surprised by how often you appear in the show. How do you squeeze in time amid your film schedule?

We just shot a bunch of stuff for the show down here in Louisiana where I’m filming [the Peter Berg action drama] Deepwater Horizon. So we just have to be flexible as far as where and when we shoot. If I finish early, we’ll go shoot some stuff. Whatever we can figure out.

How hands-on are you as a producer?

Very. Anything that involves me and the business, I’m very hands-on. As you’ll see in the second half of this season, I’ve gotten even more involved.

What has surprised you the most about making a reality show?

Whether it’s scripted or reality, I’ve been producing television for quite some time, so I’m [pretty] used to it. The only thing I’m not used to is [the producers] continuing to push to have more of me on [the show]. That was never the plan. Though as we work harder to promote the business, I find myself willing to do more stuff. But I’m only doing what I want to do and how I want to do it.

Mark Wahlberg will play an LAPD Detective who falls for his FBI Agent boss in Partners, a new buddy cop romantic comedy from New Line Cinema.

Mark Wahlberg has signed on to play the leading role in Partners, an original action comedy from New Line Cinema. According to Deadline, the Transformers: Age of Extinction star will play an LAPD detective who falls for a beautiful woman, only to later discover that she’s both an FBI Agent and the person in charge of the case on which he’s currently working.

Wahlberg’s recent credits as an actor include Rupert Wyatt’s The Gambler, William Monahan’s Mojave and Seth MacFarlane’s comedy sequel, Ted 2. His next is Paramount Pictures’ comedy Daddy’s Home, set for release on Christmas day. There, the two time Academy Award nominee stars opposite Will Ferrell.

Coming up, Wahlberg is set to headline Peter Berg’s Deepwater Horizon, set for release September 30, 2016. It is also suspected that Wahlberg will be reteaming with Berg for another true story with the Boston Marathon bombing film, Patriot’s Day (one of several films currently in development about the 2013 incident). Beyond those projects, Wahlberg has hinted that he’s likely to appear in additional Transformers films as well.

Partners is scripted by Evan Turner and will be produced by Stephen Levinson of Leverage Entertainment. A search is currently underway for both a director and the female lead, so check back for updates as they become available.

The 90s and 80s are not over in Delaware as over 5,000 screaming fans packed the Grandstand at the state fair on Sunday to watch New Kids On The Block perform.

The boy band sensation responsible for hit songs such as, “You Got It (The Right Stuff),” and “Step by Step,” and “Hangin’ Tough,” energized the fans and brought back memories.

The five original band members have remained together though they took a break from performing in 1994. The group began touring again in 2008 and has remained active since.

“What’s up Delaware?!” shouted Donnie Wahlberg at the crowd as he greeted fans from behind the metal fence at the front of the stage. “Are you enjoying the fair?!” he asked.

Fans held their smartphones to photograph and video the event as they yelled out band member names and begged for their attention.

Despite New Kids On The Block’s fame the event did not sell out, according to State Fair officials. Ticket prices ranged from $59 at the Grandstand to $125 at the pit – which was packed to max capacity.

Band members opened their act with “Block Party” a song they released in 2013. They moved from one end of the stage to the other as they danced to make sure all fans were able to catch a glimpse of them.

A celebrity-owned restaurant is making its way down to the east coast to Florida.

Wahlburgers — which is owned by actor-brothers Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg — will open its first Sunshine State location in Orlando, the Orlando Business Journal reports.

The new Wahlburgers will take a spot in the SunTrust Center in downtown Orlando at 200 S. Orange Ave.

This won’t be the only Wahlburgers in Florida: It’s the first of 20 planned locations as part of a franchise agreement with an Orlando businessman, the Orlando Business Journal reports.

The burger joint and its famous owners are the subject of an A&E TV series. No information is available on whether any episodes will be filmed at the new location. The show’s fourth season premieres July 15.

Ted 2 stars Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane wow us all with some rather impressive (and some kind of sketchy) accents in a game of ‘accentuate’!

With Ted 2 out in cinemas now Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon are joined by stars of the movie, and all around funny men Seth MacFarlane and Mark Wahlberg as they play a game of ‘accentuate’.

The rules are simple – pick two cards, read aloud the phrase on the first card and then match it with the given accent on the second, simples. Mostly, it did take the acting duo a few failed attempts to get the hang of the British classic.

Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg are poised to reunite for “Mile 22,” the action movie from STX Entertainment.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, UFC champ turned actress Ronda Rousey (“The Expendables 3,” “Furious 7″) and Iko Uwais (“The Raid: Redemption”) are already on board the project, which follows a CIA agent stationed in Indonesia who’s assigned to transport a compromised informant from the center of the city to the a plane waiting at the airport, 22 miles away. To get there, they must face corrupt cops, crimelords and heavily armed locals, all of whom are going for them.

Wahlberg will star as the CIA agent, while Berg will direct. They’ll both produce the film alongside Stephen Levinson. It’s written by Graham Roland (“Fringe,” “Lost”), who will serve as executive producer.

Berg and Wahlberg, who previously worked together on 2013’s “Lone Survivor,” are currently filming “Deepwater Horizon.”

Mark Wahlberg and his foul-mouthed, substance-abusing teddy bear of a best friend Ted are back in Ted 2!! Mark called into the Roz & Mocha Show to talk all the about movie.

In the follow up to the hit 2012 comedy, the furry character wants nothing more than to become a father. TED 2 is now playing everywhere!

Wahlberg is the ultimate pro—whether he’s carrying an Oscar-winning film, producing shows on TV, or simply making us laugh our asses off. (See today’s Ted 2.) But there’s much more to this father of four; namely, a struggle for redemption.

A boxy figure in a blue suit, collared shirt, and no tie emerges backlit from smoke and shadow. He walks toward you, hands in pockets, fabric draping in symmetrical billows, his gait even, steps steady, and pauses, yellow light now hitting him full in the face. Mark Wahlberg nods once, then blinks, and asks, “How was that? Again?” He turns, walks back into the shadow and smoke, stands there, waits.

He’s here on a Hollywood sound-stage, filming a promotion for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. For pay-per-view watchers—in other words, all of us except the precious few who could afford the many thousands of dollars it cost to be in the MGM Grand Garden Arena that night in May—the first thing we saw before the big fight, after the preliminaries, before the ring walks and the cameras panning to the celebrities in the audience, was Mark Wahlberg walking out of the smoke and shadow, his familiar drawn, beseeching, hungry face staring at us and uttering with action-hero solemnity a kind of beat poem for the pugilistic set: “A rivalry, deeper than competition, so personal it transcends sports, it speaks to the very core of human nature.”

He goes on in this macho cadence for more than 30 seconds. It’s no easy task to stand there and spout this steroidal copywriting, but Wahlberg does it with aplomb, never wavering, in two quick takes. Like after a hard left and a hard right, this promo is down for the count. The lights come up and a few dozen camera, sound, light people, and a half-dozen guys in suits seated in armchairs, a phone in each hand, can finally stand up and stretch, talk full-throatedly into their phones. Wahlberg is a pro. He got here on time. He filled out his suit like a panther does his fur. And then nailed his lines. You can’t say the same for the other guy slated to do the promo, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who, as of Wahlberg’s nailed take, was already an hour late.
