Wahlburgers will tower over the Strip’s Grand Bazaar Shops.

Looks like the first Las Vegas branch of Wahlburgers will offer distant peeks at the Bellagio fountains when it arrives at the Grand Bazaar Shops by the end of this year.

Once scheduled for a ground floor space at the rear of the Bazaar, the original property was enthusiastically toured by brothers Paul and Donnie Wahlberg on their A&E reality TV show. After months of stagnation, that footprint is now occupied by the Fuel Bar Garage.

Instead, plywood now points to Wahlburgers heading up the stairs, or adjacent elevator, to occupy 5,000 square feet originally earmarked for chef Sam Marvin, then ditched for another abandoned plan to host Nacho Daddy.

The new location will include a 600-square foot outdoor patio and a walk-up window serving the casual burger, salad and sandwich menu, plus a series of “specialty cocktails.” If you are looking for souvenirs, a Wahlburgers retail shop will take over a separate location in the Bazaar, located closer to the Strip, and feature an inventory of “branded Wahlburgers merchandise, including T-shirts, key chains, shot glasses and more.” It plans to debut sooner than the restaurant.

Scheduled for a “late 2015” debut date, Wahlburgers will be serving up “Wahlfaves” Sunday to Thursday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Mark Wahlberg ‘in talks with NBA star Caron Butler to film biopic’

Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg has reportedly held discussions with NBA star Caron Butler about producing a film about the sportsman’s life.

The biopic would be based on Butler’s new book Tuff Juice, which details how the Sacramento Kings player grew up dealing drugs, but managed to turn his life around.

Wahlberg has publicly backed the book on social media, and according to TMZ, Butler said: “[A film is] a possibility. I’ve spent some time with Mark Wahlberg. He loved my story.”

The American actor has already worked on sports-based projects including The Fighter and HBO series Ballers.

UFC Champion Ronda Rousey is ready to film her first lead role in ‘Mile 22’. Starring alongside Mark Wahlberg, Rousey will go straight to movie shooting after she’s done with her upcoming fight with Holly Holm in Australia.

According to the Daily Mail UK, Rousey talked about being excited about her acting venture in ‘Mile 22’, especially with her as main character. Remarking how lucky she is, she reveals that right after her 15 November 2015 fight with Holm in Australia, she’ll be off filming with Mark Wahlberg. Acknowledging it as a “big step”, Rousey compared doing the lead acting role in ‘Mile 22’ is like “acting light belt to a heavyweight.”

According to Wrestling News World, ‘Mile 22’ is just one of many non-UFC projects Rousey has in line. She will also be playing the lead in the ‘Road House’ remake as well as her ‘My Fight/Your Fight’ biopic. The Athena Project is also part of her schedule and numerous shoots and guestings to boot. Wrestlemania 32 is might be trying to negotiate a Rousey appearance, but seems unlikely with her busy schedule and her UFC commitment.

Combat Press reported that Rousey may be transitioning to Hollywood soon, with movies like ‘Mile 22’ coming her way. In a recent podcast interview, Rousey said she wouldn’t to fight in her 30s. With the plethora of offers Rousey has, she can pick her film roles around her fighting career. So far, she has “wisdom to choose projects” that are with established Hollywood actors. Making films with actors like Mark Wahlberg, Vin Diesel is a guaranteed way to be a box office presence.

While Ronda Rousey’s retirement is not too near, it is clear that she will be entertaining the idea of Hollywood once she does retire. ‘Mile 22’ may just be the first step to this transition, and she has a strong actor companion in Mark Wahlberg. The film is slated for a 2016 release, with no specific date named yet.

As reported by, the creator of the hit HBO series “Entourage” Doug Ellin has confirmed plans for a sequel to the show’s first feature film.

The writer, director and creator of the series said “I don’t have any thoughts on what it is yet, but the plan is to do another one.”

He then adds how a sequel could fit into the show’s lead character Vincent Chase’s story arc. “That’s how life is. Everything seems great,” Ellin said. “That’s especially how Hollywood is. Everything seems great, then it goes to s***,” Ellin said.

Despite the negative feedback the film faced as reported by, Ellin strongly defended the film. “Talk to real people instead of little, bitter guys sitting on their Twitter accounts,” Ellin said.

Based on an interview on, the creator said this against the criticisms “It’s really silly and really stupid. I will never understand it. The truth is, I’ll stand up in front of anybody and say this is a smart show that really shows this town how it is.”

“If you talk to real guys, guys like NBA star LeBron James, or Home Improvement’s Richard Karn, or Kurt Rambis, and not some dork writing brony fiction on his Apple Watch, they’ll say that Entourage is actually a thorough non-fictional account of their life and will try to sue me for money,” Ellin stated.

“Sting cornered me at our last tantric sex picnic demanding to know why I’d changed Turtle’s name from Robbo the Welshman, that’s how f*cking accurate my sh*t is,” the writer and director added.

The biggest news is Ellin’s confirmation of executive producer Mark Wahlberg’s approval for a sequel. Ellin said “I took a year. I didn’t know if there was really an appetite for it.”

“But Mark told me, ‘If you write this script, I guarantee I’ll get it made,'” concluded Ellin.

The characters of “Blue Bloods” will face bigger challenges as the show premieres for Season 6.

According to Christian Post, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) will be receiving a scary message, which is possibly from a serial killer. The reports said that the serial killer is not only trying to target Danny but also his family.

It will be a tough season for Danny as it was reported that while he finds out who the threat to his life is, he will try to protect his family at the same time. However, this story was reported for episodes for October.According to Cartermatt, the premiere episode of the season is titled “Worst Case Scenario.” The synopsis of the episode reveals that Chief of Police Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) has to deal with a possible terrorist threat in New York City.

Bridget Moynahan was revealed to be back on the set to play Eric Reagan. In an interview, she shared that she considers her co-stars her family and that she is happy to be back working on the show. It was reported that her character will be a judge.

Meanwhile, Frank Reagan will be accused of corruption as he will be used as a tool of corrupt politicians. This issue will reportedly affect his family since all of the members work on the side of the law.

It was also earlier reported that a new character will be entering the show. It was announced that Esai Morales will be playing the role of an NYPD sergeant named Delgado. The guest character was described as someone who is not what he seems to be. In addition, his character is very particular in improving the accuracy in the police statistics, and this could lead to different unforeseen results as he tries different ways just to earn a promotion.

“Blue Bloods” will return September 25 for Season 6.

Fan of meat served between bread? Also a fan of Marky-Mark? And the Wahlberg brothers’ brand of Irish-American charm in general?

Well, we have good news for you then – the Wahlberg brothers’ burger chain is coming to Dubai.

When he’s not being a Hollywood A-lister, Mark Wahlberg is busy helping his brothers Donnie (from Blue Bloods) and Paul (the chef) with their new burger chain Wahlburgers.

For a year now the Wahlberg brothers have been the focus of a reality show Wahlburgers, which gives viewers behind the scenes access of the day-to-day grind of setting up and expanding a burger chain. With over 70 restaurants already under their belt, the Wahlberg brothers have announced that they now have their sights set on the Middle East.

Rick Vanzura, CEO of Wahlburgers told PR Newswire, ‘We are thrilled to continue our growth with outstanding franchise partners. The reality of bringing Wahlburgers to our friends in the Middle East is extremely exciting”.

We’ve all heard the tales of the plethora of celebrity restaurants to be opened in Dubai, including Gordon Ramsey’s Bread Street Kitchen, and Tom Aiken’s Pots, Pans & Boards – but we weren’t expecting Marky Mark.

The deal that’s been signed will see 20 new Wahlberg establishments in the Middle East. Worldwide the brothers have 66 locations under development that will open in the next several years.

Coney Island is getting a taste of Boston at last.

Wahlburgers, the Boston-based burger chain from Wahlberg brothers singer/actor Donnie, rapper-turned-actor Mark and their chef brother Paul, has finally opened Monday on the boardwalk after months of delays.

The 6,800-square foot space at 3015 Stillwell Ave. — across the street from the original Nathan’s Famous — fell behind schedule due to a pending certificate of occupancy, which is issued by the city’s Department of Buildings.

The DOB told the Daily News last month that the chain was waiting on a construction inspection, in which the department had to check for exit signs, emergency lighting and any outstanding safety issues.

The former New Kids on the Block boy band members put all “The Right Stuff” on the menu including a BBQ Bacon Burger, beef hot dogs, tater tots and the vegetarian-friendly Portobello Mushroom Cap.

“What really drew us to this location is the rooftop. The view is just phenomenal — there’s no better place to take in the sights of Coney Island while enjoying burgers and drinks with friends,” Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement.

Donnie and Mark filmed their first music video “Please Don’t Go Girl” at Coney Island in 1988, now they’re back where they started.

“To imagine years later that our name will be on the sign of a burger joint that probably wouldn’t even be possible without New Kids on the Block — a band that led to all these other opportunities — to come full circle…it’s a proud, proud moment,” Donnie told The News in June.

GENEVA – Hotel Baker owner Rowena Salas said she was honored that celebrity Jenny McCarthy and singer/actor Donnie Wahlberg picked the St. Charles hotel as the setting for their wedding last year.

On Friday night, she was one of 150 guests at A Night of Hope, a benefit held at Oscar Swan Country Inn in Geneva to raise money for Generation Rescue, an organization designed to provide hope, information and immediate treatment assistance to families affected by autism spectrum disorders. Her son, Evan, was diagnosed with autism in 2005.

McCarthy is president of the organization, and Salas become a member of the board of directors earlier this year. McCarthy hosted Friday’s event, which was sold-out.

“I have a nephew who was diagnosed with autism,” said Salas, who owns the Hotel Baker in St. Charles with her husband, Joe. “It’s very close to my heart because of sister’s journey. He’s now 19 and doing well.”

They co-chaired Friday’s event with Karen and Ed French. The event also featured a live auction featuring such items as a New Kids On The Block signed guitar and a visit on the set of CBS’ series “Blue Bloods” in New York City. Wahlberg is a member of New Kids On The Block and stars in “Blue Bloods.”

McCarthy and her husband recently bought a house in St. Charles, according to the show “Donnie Loves Jenny.”

Generation Rescue provides medical treatment grants to families in need, Generation Rescue Executive Director Candace McDonald said.

CBS’ “Blue Bloods” is due to premiere for its sixth season next month, and new spoilers have cropped up giving a preview of the season to come.

With the return of “Blue Bloods” for Season 6 this September, audiences will be treated to Danny on the heels of a serial killer suspected be hunting him in turn.

Detective First Grade Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) is fresh off a case from last season that’s put his family to the test. Last season the Reagans rushed to the hospital after Danny’s wife, Linda (Amy Carlson) is shot, and Danny nabs the gang member responsible for her shooting. Turns out the gang member murdered a deputy police chief, as well.

During the premiere of Season 6, fans will see him teaming up with Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) to track down a serial killer who sends Danny a chilling message, pointing out suspect may have a personal vendetta against Detective Reagan.

Meanwhile Erin Reagan-Boyle (Bridget Moynahan) is thinking of applying for a judgeship position, giving rise to anticipation over whether she will actually go through with the idea she’s toying with, and whether it will give rise to more conflicts of interest in the plot.

Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) finds himself in a tight spot after he is accused of corruption by a mayoral candidate, a political issue that doesn’t often appear in television crime series.

Officer Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) will find also herself facing her long-estranged father when he lands in the hospital.

“Blue Bloods” was earlier renewed for a sixth season in May after ratings went up during the Season 5 finale. It will continue to follow the lives of the Reagans, an Irish-American family of police officers working with the New York City Police Department, when it returns to its usual timeslot for Season 6 on Sept. 25.

The star and producer also explains why he was initially hesitant to do the A&E docuseries, admitting: “Being on TV as ‘Mark Wahlberg’ was not of interest to me.”

Your initial reaction to the show concept was allegedly, “Will people really be interested in this?” What made you say yes?

Yeah, initially I didn’t want to be on television. I’m sick of being on television. Yes, I’m an actor and a producer, which is my first love, but being on TV as “Mark Wahlberg” was not of interest to me. But it was [ultimately] about promoting and building the business. And it’s been a nice thing that has brought our family closer.

People are surprised by how often you appear in the show. How do you squeeze in time amid your film schedule?

We just shot a bunch of stuff for the show down here in Louisiana where I’m filming [the Peter Berg action drama] Deepwater Horizon. So we just have to be flexible as far as where and when we shoot. If I finish early, we’ll go shoot some stuff. Whatever we can figure out.

How hands-on are you as a producer?

Very. Anything that involves me and the business, I’m very hands-on. As you’ll see in the second half of this season, I’ve gotten even more involved.

What has surprised you the most about making a reality show?

Whether it’s scripted or reality, I’ve been producing television for quite some time, so I’m [pretty] used to it. The only thing I’m not used to is [the producers] continuing to push to have more of me on [the show]. That was never the plan. Though as we work harder to promote the business, I find myself willing to do more stuff. But I’m only doing what I want to do and how I want to do it.
