Pop’s original scripted comedy series RETURN OF THE MAC (formerly “The Joey Mac Project”) stars boy band heartthrob Joey McIntyre as a version of himself alongside his real-life family—wife Barrett and their three children, Griffin (8), Rhys (6) and Kira (5). As he embarks on a hilarious quest to be taken seriously as a legit actor, Joey is thrown into the reluctant role of a talk-show host at a fledgling cable network called the Comfy Channel. As Joey starts to navigate the talk-show circuit, he is joined by his often misguided manager and team played by a hysterical cast, including Adam Ray, Jamie Denbo, Katie Wee, Punam Patel and Jordan Black.

RETURN OF THE MAC premieres Wednesday, April 12, at 8:30/7:30, following the premiere of HOLLYWOOD DARLINGS–only on Pop.

Blue Bloods star and two Victoria’s Secret Angels will headline two extravagant Super Bowl parties, organizers of the 14th Annual Leather & Laces extravaganza announced on Friday.

Donnie Wahlberg, an original member of New Kids on the Block and a star of the CBS police series Blue Bloods, will co-host the Leather & Laces party with his wife, actress Jenny McCarthy, and special guest NASCAR racer Kyle Busch on February 3 at Hughes Manor on Washington Avenue. The 24,000-square-foot pace is undergoing extensive renovations for the party, with opulent spaces such as “The Gold Champagne Room” and “The L&L Parisian Lounge.”

The next night, February 4, Victoria’s Secrets models Adriana Lima and Sara Sampaio will host the Saturday night edition of the party, with live performances by Cirque USA, DJ Michael Jerome, DJ Avi and DJ Automatic, at the same location. The models are among the select group known as “angels” because they don wings to walk the runway in lingerie at the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

The Leather & Laces party, which debuted during Super Bowl XXVIII in Houston in 2004, has become such a hot ticket that organizers now hold two parties on the Friday and Saturday nights before the big game. Past party hosts have included Jeremy Piven, Kim Kardashian, Alessandra Ambrosio, Nicole Scherzinger, Emily Ratjkowski, Jamie Chung, Bar Refaeli, and Kevin Dillon.

Tickets range from $375 to $20,000 for a celebrity cabana for the February 3 party; and from $450 to $25,000 for a celebrity cabana for the February 4 party. For more information, visit leatherandlaces.com.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny McCarthy and their family have been selected as the grand marshals of this year’s Electric Christmas Parade in St. Charles.

The Electric Christmas Parade is set to be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, on Main Street in downtown St. Charles. The celebrity couple currently lives in St. Charles and was married in September 2014 at the historic Hotel Baker in downtown St. Charles. Their wedding and their day-to-day life living in the suburbs has been featured on their A&E reality TV show, “Donnie Loves Jenny.”

“We couldn’t be happier that Jenny, Donnie and their family will be Grand Marshals of this year’s Holiday Homecoming Parade,” St. Charles Mayor Raymond Rogina said. “The city of St. Charles is appreciative of the positive light they have shed on our community and the entire Tri-Cities area with their reality show, Donnie Loves Jenny. … We are thrilled they will be a part of St. Charles’ much-anticipated holiday tradition this year.”

The couple, Rogina also noted, held a benefit concert at the Arcada Theatre and a VIP event at Hotel Baker earlier this year to raise funds for Generation Rescue, an organization dedicated to the recovery of children with autism spectrum disorders.

The Electric Christmas Parade is the “grand finale” of St. Charles’ two-day Holiday Homecoming.

“Having the Wahlbergs as the Grand Marshal is going to be so exciting,” Downtown St. Charles Partnership Executive Director Jenna Sawicki. “We are ecstatic to have them a part of this community event.”

Other events at the Holiday Homecoming include the Lighting of the Lights on Nov. 25, sleigh rides on First Street, visits with Santa and a holiday movie.

TCA 2016: Pop’s “The Joey Mac Project” is executive produced by Jenny McCarthy and fellow “New Kid” Donnie Wahlberg

New Kids on the Block’s Joey McIntyre is set to play an exaggerated version of himself on Pop’s “The Joey Mac Project.”

The original series is inspired by the singer’s real life, as the grown-up boy band member tries to break into acting. Pop has ordered eight episodes of the half-hour comedy, which is executive produced by McIntyre along fellow “New Kid” Donnie Wahlberg.

Jenny McCarthy, Tim Gibbons (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”), Paul Greenberg (“Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris“) and Jenny Daly (“Storage Hunters,” “Hollywood and Football”) will also exec produce.

“I lucked out. What are the chances of me being cast as a character named Joey McIntyre?” said McIntyre. “But in all seriousness, if you love to laugh, we have a comedy gold team behind this project who have the secret sauce for funny TV … yes, I just said that.”

“I’ve worked with Joey since we were kids,” Wahlberg added, “but seeing all of his many talents come together in this show — I’ve never been more excited.”

“The Joey Mac Project” (working title) is produced by T Group Productions. Production kicks off this fall.

Donnie Wahlberg, star of Blue Bloods, told his wife, Jenny McCarthy, that the current Pokémon GO craze is giving him flashbacks to the Pokémon phenomenon from the 90’s that almost put him in the poor house.

Thursday night, actor and singer Donnie Wahlberg rocked the house, raising over $700,000 for wife Jenny McCarthy’s, autism charity, Generation Rescue, at his first ever solo-concert!

The iconic Arcada Theater in St. Charles, IL hosted nearly 1,000 fans in an intimate concert experience, AND the Blue Bloods star made a matching donation of $100,000 to the foundation.

Special guests included New Kids on the Block band mates, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, and Danny Wood with hip hop artists, Nice & Smooth and Naughty by Nature.

The Chicago lovebirds then brought the party back to the historic Hotel Baker, where the two wed almost two years ago, for an exclusive after party, closing the night for a cause near and dear to their hearts (as if they could get any bigger!).

McCarthy’s son, Evan, was diagnosed with autism in 2005. Wahlberg joined the board of directors for Generation Rescue in 2015.

The evening was presented by Hotel Baker, Jenee L. Polaczek, and OxyHealth, all longtime supporters of the organization.

Generation Rescue is the leading national nonprofit organization providing hope and immediate treatment assistance to families affected by autism spectrum disorders.

Wherever the New Kids on the Block are, Kristen Parness and Danielle DeCristoforo are not far behind. They go to their concerts. They’ve seen them get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They’ve even gone on a fan cruise with the band — three times.

On Thursday, their fandom brought the besties from New York all the way to the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles. Parness won the #GoHomeWithDonnie fan sweepstakes.

The win got her plane tickets for two, front row seats for a solo performance by St. Charles resident Donnie Wahlberg, VIP after-party access, and accommodations at the Hotel Baker. And she couldn’t think of a better person to bring with her than DeCristoforo.

“My husband now has a man-crush on Donnie,” Parness said. “He loves him in ‘Blue Bloods.’ When I won, he was like, ‘I’m so excited to meet him. He seems so cool.’ And I was like, ‘You’re not coming.'”

Parness and DeCristoforo met at a CD signing the band hosted during a 2008 reunion. They’ve been best friends ever since, bonding over their #BHlove (BH is short for Block Heads, a term of affection for fans of the New Kids).

“God, we just love them,” Parness said. “From ages 8 to 12 they were like our first loves. They were such a part of our life when we were little, and now they are still so great with their fans. We’ve just grown up with them.”

The pair have had some one-on-one encounters with various New Kids over the years. At one point, a member of the fan duo’s crew of friends even got Donnie Wahlberg’s cellphone number.

“Ever since we got it we’ve been harassing him on that number for free tickets to things,” laughed Parness. “But I guess the number belongs to some NFL player now.”
