Donnie Wahlberg is a star on the hit show “Blue Bloods,” (currently in season 7), is part of Wahlburgers restaurant chain with his famous family and is devoted husband and family man. However, he isn’t just the guy next door. To his millions of fans, he will always be that new kid on the block.

NKOTB is doing a total package tour with New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men in 2017. That’s right, fans, break out your best dance moves. Donnie says his son loves to come on tour with him and was a driving force in advocating for him to go on tour. Donnie says, “to see how much it means to the fans, that’s just so fulfilling.”

You can also look forward to more NKOTB cruises (there have been 8 thus far), which, as Donnie says, is “epic… 3,000 crazy people on a boat with 5 of us…it’s like spring break on a boat for people who are, like, twice the age of spring breakers…it’s really great.”  [rachaelrayshow.com]

“So many reasons to love this video – but to be a performer standing next to another performer, as gracious and cool as Jon Bon Jovi is, and to be up close to see how humbled he was by the fans/the song/the moment – made this experience all that much better. So many successful artists lose a little bit of their humility – Jon BonJovi clearly has not. Great artist, but a better guy! That’s what truly makes someone a #Legend in my book.” – Donnie Wahlberg

Nick Lachey and Donnie Wahlberg are teaming up again, but this time they’re bringing their boy bands to the small screen.

The 98 Degrees frontman stopped by PEOPLE Now to talk about his new TV project with the New Kids on the Block member, a comedy inspired by their former boy bands reuniting later in life and the struggles that come along with it.

“We put our heads together and said, ‘This sounds like a great show,’ ” says Lachey. “There’s a lot of material there that’s pretty comedic, and it will be a lot of fun.”

Although the show is still in its beginning stages, Entourage creator Doug Ellin is working on the script so they can cast and shoot a pilot.

“I’m very excited about it, I expect big things,” Lachey shares, teasing that “there’ll be a lot more to talk about later this year.”

On top of the humorous element to the show, the father of three with wife Vanessa wants audiences to know that being in a boy band isn’t a piece of cake.

“A lot of times there’s misconceptions about boy bands and sometimes people tend to discount the talent of a boy band — ‘Ah, it’s just fluff. It’s nothing,’ ” he says. “But when you’re in a boy band, it’s like being in any other band. You work your ass off. There’s a lot of hard work that goes into it; there’s a lot of talent that’s out there on that stage.”

He continues, “Then to come back and do it later in life, it’s crazy it’s a whole other set of challenges. I’m just excited for people to see that world.”

Although Lachey says both New Kids on the Block and 98 Degrees have big plans this year, including a New Kids on the Block tour with Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men this summer, the groups may reunite on the road once again.

“There’s always a chance,” Lachey teases. “As long as we enjoy performing together, which we do, I don’t see any reason to stop.”

Blue Bloods star and two Victoria’s Secret Angels will headline two extravagant Super Bowl parties, organizers of the 14th Annual Leather & Laces extravaganza announced on Friday.

Donnie Wahlberg, an original member of New Kids on the Block and a star of the CBS police series Blue Bloods, will co-host the Leather & Laces party with his wife, actress Jenny McCarthy, and special guest NASCAR racer Kyle Busch on February 3 at Hughes Manor on Washington Avenue. The 24,000-square-foot pace is undergoing extensive renovations for the party, with opulent spaces such as “The Gold Champagne Room” and “The L&L Parisian Lounge.”

The next night, February 4, Victoria’s Secrets models Adriana Lima and Sara Sampaio will host the Saturday night edition of the party, with live performances by Cirque USA, DJ Michael Jerome, DJ Avi and DJ Automatic, at the same location. The models are among the select group known as “angels” because they don wings to walk the runway in lingerie at the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

The Leather & Laces party, which debuted during Super Bowl XXVIII in Houston in 2004, has become such a hot ticket that organizers now hold two parties on the Friday and Saturday nights before the big game. Past party hosts have included Jeremy Piven, Kim Kardashian, Alessandra Ambrosio, Nicole Scherzinger, Emily Ratjkowski, Jamie Chung, Bar Refaeli, and Kevin Dillon.

Tickets range from $375 to $20,000 for a celebrity cabana for the February 3 party; and from $450 to $25,000 for a celebrity cabana for the February 4 party. For more information, visit leatherandlaces.com.

Donnie Wahlberg and Nick Lachey have teamed with “Entourage’s” Doug Ellin to produce a comedy for CBS about members of a boy band who reunite 20 years later.

“Encore” hails from CBS Television Studios and the Tannenbaum Co. The single-camera project is in the early stage of development.

Wahlberg and Lachey are intimately familiar with the material. Wahlberg was a member of the late 1980s pop group New Kids on the Block. Lachey was a member of 98 Degrees, which was active in the late-1990s and early 2000s. Wahlberg and Lachey have become friendly after spending time touring together in 2013. The inspiration for the show came when the two compared notes about how different their lives are today as grown men with children than in their pop star heydays.

Wahlberg is already in the CBS family as a co-star of police drama “Blue Bloods.” He also exec producers the reality series “Rock This Boat,” about obsessive NKOTB fans, for CBS’ Pop cabler. And he’s an exec producer on the A&E Network series “Wahlburgers,” about his family’s burger joint in Boston.

Family ties also helped bring Ellin into the picture for “Encore.” The showrunner created and exec produced the 2004-2011 HBO series “Entourage” that was inspired by the Hollywood experiences of his older brother, Mark Wahlberg.

Ellin is penning the script for “Encore” and exec producing with Eric and Kim Tannenbaum (“Two and a Half Men”), Wahlberg, Lachey and Jonathan Baruch. Andrew Moncrief of Ellin’s Halyard Park banner will serve as a producer.

Ellin’s recent projects include ESPN’s “30 for 30: When the Garden Was Eden” doc and “Bad Santa 2,” which is set for release on Nov. 23. He also wrote and directed the 2015 “Entourage” feature.

Ellin is repped by CAA and attorney Jeff Frankel of McKuin Frankel Whitehead. The Tannenbaums are also with CAA. Wahlberg is with WME. Lachey’s with ICM Partners.

Donnie Wahlberg new funny interview on LIVE with Kelly – November 02, 2016 (full version, HD).

The actor-singer took 122 selfies in just three minutes aboard the annual NKOTB cruise.
Your move, Kim Kardashian.

Donnie Wahlberg last week set the Guinness World Record for most selfies taken in three minutes.

On board the sold-out eighth annual NKOTB cruise, nearly 3,000 fans surrounded the actor-singer as he took a total of 122 selfies. The fans formed a single-file line and were (somewhat hilariously) shuffled quickly through as Wahlberg snapped the photos.

A Guinness rep was there to certify the record.

After finding massive success as a boy band in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the group reunited in 2008 and have embarked on several stadium tours with other ’90s icons like Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. They released their 10th U.S. album, 10, in 2013, and more recently embarked on a summer tour called The Main Event with TLC and Nelly.

Their annual summer cruise has been documented in two seasons of Pop’s Rock This Boat: New Kids on the Block.

Wahlberg, who co-stars on CBS’ Blue Bloods, also is serving as an executive producer on Pop’s comedy series The Joey Mac Project, starring his bandmate Joey McIntyre.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Wahlburgers Downtown Orlando has ended its fundraiser and will donate $50,403 to the #OneOrlando Fund. The restaurant raised $25,402 in t-shirt sales, and Donnie Wahlberg personally contributed an additional $25,000. A check presentation ceremony with the mayor and city officials is planned, and will be held at a future date pending Donnie Wahlberg’s schedule.

Donnie Wahlberg says, “I’m so grateful to the many generous guests of #Wahlburgers who purchased #OrlandoStrong t-shirts to help the victims still struggling in the wake of the horrible Pulse tragedy. Your generosity has inspired me so much that I am personally donating an additional $25,000 raising the total sum to the victims and their families to $50,000.”

“As a society, we often move on very quickly from such tragedies while the victims and their loved ones, most of whom will be affected forever, continue on the long and painful road to recovery and healing. Hopefully this donation will assist in that healing, and also serve as a reminder that there are still many victims struggling to rebuild their lives who need our continued financial and emotional support,” concludes Wahlberg.

“My family has a long history in this community, and our thoughts and prayers are forever with the victims and their families,” says Franchisee Gina Buell. “We want to personally thank our guests who purchased the t-shirts, our community for coming out in such strength, as well as our Wahlburgers family for their support. The logo that was designed for the #OrlandoStrong Wahlburgers t-shirt shows the peace, loveand strength between Boston and Orlando, two cities affected by senseless tragedies,” concludes Buell.
